Elaborated on the best vintages, this wine is a tribute to our elder Jules Bonnet, and his work as a winemaker.

Our best Pinots noirs from Chamery and Verzenay  are selected for a vinification “the old way”, in small oak casks and with no uses of selected yeast.

After the fermentation, the wine is grown 9 months in barrels with few stiring of the lees before being bottled unfiltered.

A champagne for connoisseur, with a vibrant and strong personality. Its structure and aromatique depth call for refined cuisine.

Blending :

  • 100% Pinot noir, 2004 picking


  • Village of Verzenay, classified Grand Cru. Presence of chalk at a very shallow level, northern orientation of the slope; these conditions ensures complete ripeness and high acidity  level, giving long aging potential and structure to the wines.

Vinification :

  • 9 months on lees, in oak barrels
  • Minimal aging in bottle of 8 years

Dosage :

  • Brut nature, no added sugar
